The Challenge
Modibodi is a household name in period underwear and health, known for its commitment to quality and sustainability. But this market is becoming incredibly competitive, so it was imperative for Modibodi to position the brand as a leader. We needed to create compelling content, answering all the tricky questions people have while engaging with industry experts for in-depth advice and knowledge.
As Modibodi already had an internal content team, we were able to work collaboratively on a wider strategy that would support internal content resources and also allow us to provide content at scale for maximum impact.
Our Approach
Our Modibodi strategy would incorporate four core pillars: People, Stories, Bodies and Products. With this approach, we could establish and grow authority, connect and engage with their ideal audience, increase brand awareness and promote conversions across the site.
By curating notable industry experts and well-known Australian personalities, we were able to craft a strategy that combined potential SEO wins with trending topics among their audience. Our collaboration with the Modibodi content team allowed us to fast-track our online content and create an ecosystem that would integrate together. We explored all the hot topics, including:
- First periods: everything you’re too scared to Google
- Navigating your first cycle: there’s no such thing as normal
- How to get blood out of your mattress
- Diet for PCOS
- What to expect when you get an Implanon® removed
Other cluster groups included non-binary, sensuality, pregnancy, birth control, thrush, irregularity and cycle advice.
Our aim was to get to the heart of the topics that no one else was brave enough to write about. Modibodi has a platform and we’re proud to have helped them to share valuable insights and educate their audience with advice backed by medical experts.
The Results
Our ongoing efforts with Modibodi have been rewarding, with a surge in traffic and overall impressions. The Modibodi site has become a beacon of information, educating young and old about periods, incontinence and people with periods’ health.
The results so far are impressive and we’re expecting this to continue to soar as we deliver more of our strategy.
Some notable achievements include:
- 94 new keywords ranking
- 285.90% increase in organic traffic to the blog
- 59.95% increase in keywords ranking
